The interface used the highly reliable FTDI UART comm port chipset. CAT control allows you to set/get the frequency and mode of your transceiver. The interface gives you CAT control of your transceiver via a built in USB Comm port. The interface has a built in PTT function and can be used without a CAT interface. This frees up your PCs internal sound card for normal windows functions. The interface has a built in external USB Sound Card based on C-Media CM108 chip. Please note that some of these applications offer enhanced functionality when you also have CAT control of the radio. Perfect for use with WSJT-X, FlDigi, Ham Radio Deluxe (DM780), Echolink and many others.
